"Your mission, to save your mother, is to gain the trust of Ladybug by working with her 'against' me, up until the point where she has successfully infiltrated my lair with you. Then, well- then you do what you do. Use Cataclysm. Kill her and take her earrings, and we can bring your mother back from the pocket dimension she's trapped in. I will be sending the first akuma in about an hour. Be ready."
That was what my father told me to do, before giving me the Cat Miraculous to subjugate, after he had subjugated me with an Akuma. I was my father's- no, Hawkmoth's puppet, and the Cat was my slave. Surprisingly, the Cat kwami, Plagg, gave up after about three minutes. I hated what I did, but either that or I take a backseat in my own brain and watch myself do much worse without being able to stop it.
AN: In case you haven't figured it out yet, Adrien's dad is forcing him to use the Miraculous to get close to Ladybug, to try and trick her into delivering the miraculous on a red and black spotted tray.
Also, Adrien will not be going to school, so Marinette won't ever develop a crush on Adrien, thereby being much more open to a relationship with Chat. And MariChat will definitely be a thing.
And this will probably be the only Adrien POV chapter. Just cuz.
