I don't own anything except for my characters. (This chapter has been updated)

'Two months… It's been two months since I found out about my parents and since Tri- my father disappeared. And still no one's been able to find him'. Ken sighs, and hears Luke calling. "Coming Luke!" he yells back trying to keep his excitement in check, 'Maybe they found him!' Unfortunately, however, that wasn't the case.

"There you are Ken." Luke said.

"Did you find him!?" Ken shouts.

Luke slowly shakes his head, "No… sorry." 'Figures' Ken thinks as he crosses his arms and sighs. Luke tries to smile, "Han and Leia wanted to show us a river they just found. They said it was good to swim in. So I thought it would be a good idea for you to practice swimming."

Ken smiles weakly, "Ok. I'll be right back."

Ken slowly walks back to his room and changes into his swimming shorts and picks up a spare shirt he finds on the floor then comes back. "I'm ready." Luke smiles, turns and walks out the door.

a few minutes later with no talking between the two...

Luke glances over his shoulder at Ken who keeps stopping and messing with his shoe. "Something wrong Ken?" Ken glances up and shakes his head, "Just a rock in my shoe. You can go on ahead, I'll catch up with you once I get it out." Luke hesitates for a moment then shrugs and continues on his way leaving Ken leaning on a tree with his shoe in his hand. "Come on, why won't you come out." He stops then shakes his head. 'And now I'm talking to a pebble...' A rustle beside him makes him jump and back up hopping on one foot with his shoe held over his head ready to throw if needed. "Who's there?" A half second later a hand clamps over his mouth causing a muffled scream to come out as he is pulled into some bushes. He struggles to get away until a voice whispers "Ken be still."

Ken stops immediately and looks over to see Triclops beside him. What is he doing? Ken wonders and starts to ask but Triclops shakes his head. A minute later Ken gets his answer as two clones run by. One stops and looks around, "I was sure I head something." Ken's eyes widen as he realises he dropped his shoe. He relaxes as the storm troopers move on with one shaking his head and saying "You've been standing too close to the tanks again. You keep hearing things." After a few minutes Triclops releases Ken and stands up. Ken stares at him for a moment before whispering, "Thanks." Triclops smiles slightly then sits back down, his head slightly tilted to the side. "What are you doing out here?" Ken shrugs and looks at the ground, "I was following Luke to go swimming in a river that Han and Leia found." 'Ok, kinda awkward. What should I say? Why didn't you tell me I was your son or why did you run off or better yet what should I call him, Father or Dad?'

"You can call me whatever you'd like." Triclops says and Ken jumps then stares at him. "How did you-" He stops unsure of what to say. Triclops tilts his head, "I am sometimes able to hear bits and pieces of what other are thinking."

"Oh." Ken replies. He looks at his hands for a moment the looks back at Triclops, "What do you want me to call you?"

Triclops just stares at him and arches an eyebrow. "Oh right, you already told me it didn't matter… Then um, can I call you dad?"

Triclops smiles, "I would be honored."

"Ken!" Luke yells and Triclops turns his head and looks down the path Luke went.

"I think you are being missed." Ken shrugs then stands up. He looks at Triclops for a moment. "Can I see you again?" Triclops looks at Ken then nods, "I'll be able to find you again." Ken smiles then turns and runs off in the direction of Luke's voice yelling, "I'm coming!"
