I met her when I was young,
That girl named Alaska.
Her laugh was infectious,
Her smile was contagious.
That Girl named Alaska,
She knew of labyrinth's,
but never how to get out of her own.
The walls built up so high,
That not even the smoke of her cigarettes could exit.
That Girl named Alaska,
She was beautiful,
Like an old movie star or a book you find in a rummage sale.
That Girl named Alaska,
She never knew,
Yet she always knew.
