Faith in the Sword

Disclaimer: Don't own 'em, don't sue me! Thank you. ^_^

Author's Note: Hmmm... my second attempt at EW poetry. My first was not that good. ;) This one's a bit better. Doesn't rhyme, though, but who cares??? It's about EW, and how things are different, I think. Not so sure... to late to tell... Please read and review???? :) :) :) :) Thanks!

This land of madness and topsy turvy twists

Where the sun is the moon and the moon is the earth

Where the gods quarrel with the thunder

And we rage in helpless fear

This land of cynical values and morals that fade

Where a boy becomes a man and a fool in one day

And another learns humility and to see beneath human skins

And the stars can weep silver tears in the velvet black sky

This land of witches that can become a traitor or ally

Where a young women questions her beliefs and faith in her god

The cold, grey stones of her sister's mirror's eyes

Where a prophit of reason uses logic and reason to battle

This land of hells and havens of darkness

With no time, no gravity to catch what has fallen

Leprechauns and dragons who breathe molten lava

And cracked bones and splintered skulls can be walked on frequently

This land where legends are alive and breathing dark air

Where brave knights die in battle, real to the touch

Where the sea is cold salt, and awakens you to this place

Where the battles are hard and filled with scarlett blood wounds and crying

This land where the only hope is in survival

Where the faith is in the sword.
