Word count: 482
Summary: Hmmm ... haven't got a clue. Just read it. Have fun with it. I did! :)
Disclaimer: O.K. once again I do not own these two wonderful women and I do not plan on making any money from them. I just like to play with them! :)
Miranda sat up against the head of the bed. Her body naked except for the bottom covered by the white silk sheet that pooled at her waist. She was looking through the morning paper. Thank God the girls were at their Fathers this weekend. She and Andréa could stay in bed as long as they wanted and they did not have to worry about getting up at the crack of dawn to put pajamas on in case the twins started knocking on the bedroom door early. Speaking of Andréa the woman was still fast asleep, her long silky brown hair covered her face and fanned out over the pillow. How she could sleep so long Miranda had not a clue.
Miranda continued to leaf through the pages when she came to page six and she stopped.
Andy shifted as she heard, "How dare they," come hissing out of her girlfriend's mouth.
"Miranda. What is going on?"
Andy turned in the bed and faced her love. She attempted to crack an eyelid but it would not cooperate.
"Look at this. They will be forever sorry if they think this is funny."
Andy cringed. "Runway or the paparazzi?"
Miranda glared at the young woman lying beside her, then stuck the newspaper in front of Andréa's face.
"Look at this."
Andy tried once again to open her eyes. "What am I supposed to be looking at?"
"Goodness Andrea must I read it for you?"
Andy's smile lit up her face, "Would you?"
Miranda snickered.
"MIrandy."
Andy frowned, "I do not get it."
"They gave us a nickname. A nickname. How dare they! Our names are Andréa and Miranda not Mirandy!"
Andy was stunned then broke out into a ripping belly laugh, "Send out the National Guard. Track the culprits down and arrest them."
"It is not funny."
Andy sat up letting the sheet fall as she did.
Miranda took in a deep breath, "Andréa." She could barely whisper.
Andy winked at the naked woman sitting next to her. "Let me see that." She grabbed the paper from Miranda.
"We announce last night we are seeing each other, they put this God aweful picture of the two of us in the paper, and write about how long our relationship will last and all you have to be upset about is the nickname they gave us?" Andy was laughing uncontrollably.
"It is not funny. Yes the picture is atrocious and I do not care what they say about our relationship because I know it will last to the end of our days but the least they could do is use our real names."
Miranda wrinkled up her nose.
Andy giggled as she nuzzled Miranda's neck.
"Don't think you can take my mind off of it either." Miranda huffed.
"Are you saying this is not working?" Andy purred into Miranda's ear.
"Mmmmm working at doing what?"
"Exactly Miranda."
