She watches from across the room. She watches as the only person that she cares about in the entire damn world falls more and more in love with someone else.
(She'd be lying if she said it didn't hurt).
She closes her eyes to keep from crying and keeps them that way for however long. She doesn't keep track. Suddenly the meeting comes to an end and Santana bolts out of the room.
She can feel Brittany behind her and as she keeps walking she hopes that she'll call after her, because at this point, it's the only thing that saves her.
She pushes the door leading to the outdoors without hearing a word.
"Santana." Brittany whispers to the closing door
