Mikan's POV:
She felt so helpless… so stupid! Why can't she stop her tears from falling? She had struggled hard, tried her best to keep all the betrayal, embarrassment and insecurities bottled up inside. But, why? Why did it have to burst out infront of these sea of faces? Damn! Now, she felt so small, so unworthy and so lacking. She wished that the floor would open up and swallow her whole inorder to escape the negative energies surrounding her, penetrating her being.
She felt herself starting to withdraw and form a protective shell around her, such a coping mechanism proves useful at times. She felt mad, angry and disappointed at herself for being inadequate, not only to her eyes but to these people that she had known for 3 years. But, worst of all, she blamed herself for what happened and told herself that it's what she deserved for being imperfect and inadequate.
Damn! She thought she was tough and through with crying but why the tears now? Maybe her defenses weren't as tight as before. Maybe she fell into the trap of false security and managed to let her guard down. A lesson learned again. Never let anyone get close enough to hurt you. It was her blunder, her mistake. She allowed them entry, thus she invited this pain. But, no more. It won't happen again. She'd learned this lesson the hard way: Keep your distance and protect yourself from the cruel tendencies of the people.

Normal POV:
Natsume watched silently, hands clenched into tight fists and jaws gritted firmly, from his seat at the back of the room as tears coursed down his "polka dots's" usually cheerful face. Seeing her in such state, so down and beaten, made him curse to oblivion the person responsible for it. Angry fire blazed in his eyes as he turned his eyes on their teacher, their stupid teacher who was responsible for removing the happy glint in her eyes.
"Natsume…" he heard Ruka from beside him berate him because Ruka guessed what was going on in that mind of his.
"No one does that to her without paying, Ruka. I'll make sure that stupid teacher pays for what he has done to her." Came his hard statement.
This worried Ruka. The flame caster was angry and when angry, he could be rather… irrational.
Ruka turned his gaze at their teacher.
"You shouldn't have done that to her." Came Ruka's thoughts as he shook his head in regret. He was torn between warning his teacher and letting him have his just reward from natsume 'cause he was also angry at what he did to their Mikan.
"Good luck, sensei…" came Ruka's quiet sarcasm.
