Lips touch for three seconds and immediately after, they part and Sam lies down on the basement floor as if nothing happens as he stares up at the roof and tries to make shapes out of the mold on the ceiling. Kurt isn't ready. He's still sitting there with his knee's hugged to his chest, hands wrapped around his calves.
"Sam." he says, in utter shock, it tumbles out of his mouth. He doesn't mea to say it, but it falls and shatters against the carpet and explodes agains their eardrums. Sam looks up at him expectantly, a smile playing on his lips. He's still acting like the kiss didn't happen because he was ready and Kurt wasn't.
Kurt stares into his eyes and wonders what color they are. At first, they appeared blue, much like his own. But upon furhter inspection, Kurt notices just how wrong he was. Ocean blue turns to sea green, staring at Kurt, inspecting his face.
