Fox Mulder stared at the computer in shock. He couldn't believe what he was reading.
"This can't be true," he murmured. Deep down, he knew he wasn't being lied to. Mulder just needed to remain in denial for a few seconds.
How had he not known before? The signs were glaringly obvious now. Mulder should have realized earlier. He couldn't believe how stupid he had been.
Scully was going to be shocked too, but also very excited. Mulder suddenly couldn't wait to tell his wife this news.
The truth was obvious on the screen: Monica Reyes was actually Samantha Mulder.
I'm absolutely convinced that Monica is Samantha Mulder, and I can't let it go. I am eventually going to write a full blown fic where Monica is Samantha, but I have no clue when I'll get to it.
