Tom and Jerry: The New Pet
Title screen fades in and out in true Tom and Jerry fashion, opening up to a scene of the sun streaming in the windows of Tom's all too familiar house. Tom rolls over on his back, purring. The maid leaves in a hurry. "Thomas!! We're gonna get a new pet! So make sure this place stays in shape while I'm gone, or you're violin strings, got it?!"
All the racket wakes Jerry up. When the maid leaves, he runs out to the living room. Tom is biting his nails and looking out the window. He is so inconsolable he doesn't even put in the effort to chase Jerry. They just sit at the window and wait.
When the maid returns, Jerry hides and Tom looks around for the new pet, which is nowhere to be found. All the maid has is a little red and white ball. Tom sighs with relief. Jerry pokes his head out, but relaxes when there is no extra cats or dogs around. Just then, the maid pushes a button on the ball, and what appears to be a flying rock with arms pops out. "Thomas! Meet your new friend! It's called..." She reads the ball. "Geo-Dude. So be nice to him!!" She stomps out.
The rock flies over to Tom, repeating his name over and over. Tom frantically runs away, trying to squish in to Jerry's mouse hole. Jerry gladly helps an old pal out by kicking Tom's butt so hard he smashes through the tiny hole. He follows Tom, just as frantically. They look out fearfully as the rock flies around saying, "geo dude geo dude geo dude geo..."
Jerry has had enough. He picks up an old boot and heaves it out the door at Geodude. Tom and Jerry laugh. Geodude looks around, stunned. Tom decides to try his hand at needless cruelty, and picks up the sardine can that Jerry uses for a bed. Jerry stomps around and screams in protest. Tom heaves it out the door, but Geodude catches it. He crushes it and sends it back. He flies up to the door and knocks. Tom and Jerry huddle up against the back wall, shivering with fear. They have both turned ghostly white. The Geodude keeps knocking.
Again, Jerry comes up with the plan. They find a rock in his "house," and paint a happy face on it. Tom lights a stick of dynamite, and sticks it inside. Jerry rolls it out to Geodude, who promptly falls in love with it. It explodes right as Geodude kisses it, but it doesn't do much damage. So the Geodude, now even more lovestruck, waves his hand at Tom and Jerry, as if to invite them out so he can thank them for introducing him to this lovely girl. They are still terrified.
Tom has a fit of genius and throws Jerry out the door right at the rock monster. Jerry grabs the first thing he can find, a frying pan, and threatens Geodude with it. Geodude looks rather confused. "Geo?" He claps his hands together to try to catch Jerry, but Jerry bashes him in the head. They madly chase each other around the house. Geodude grabs ahold of Jerry and begins to squish him.
In a fit of insane bravery, Tom runs out of the mouse hole and jumps on Geodude's head. He kicks and stomps like a madman on Geodude's head. Geodude reaches up and grabs his leg. Tom is so scared, he wets himself!!! The Geodude starts to melt, but Tom can't stop. Jerry starts to laugh. Tom grabs at Jerry warningly. Jerry laughs so hard, HE begins to wet himself!!! The Geodude becomes nothing but a puddle of mud. Jerry is still laughing, when at the same time Tom snatches him up off the ground and the maid comes in and screams.
Tom drops Jerry in suprise, and Jerry runs away. The maid grabs a rolling pin, and Tom runs away. As the sun goes down, Tom is chasing Jerry while avoiding the maid's rolling pin... and Geodude is destined to become potting soil.
