I lie here taking in my last breath knowing my job is done.
I see you dragging your beaten body to me while I lie here dying
your eyes pleading to hold on til you got to me.
I move my arm to your direction saying "Hurry not much time"
But I can tell your dying as well so I roll over and drag myself half way.
Our bodies beaten we make it to each other our enemies dead bodies surround us,
But more are coming your hand touches mine I now know you have made to me
You discarded your helmet your unmasked eyes looking at me with loving caress.
You help me with mine and my eyes are filled the tears we knew this day would come,
we knew what the cost would be we knew our lives would be lost.
This world is gone our home taken by our enemies, but what they didn't take
was our courage to hold on to fight back til the very end to take out as many as we could
I lie here taking my last breath knowing what I have done for my home I've done in
Diginity, Respect , Trust, Duty and honor for the people in the next generation.
We will not be forgotten we'll be remember forever
