Chapter 1-The New Figure
20 years after the Chuunin Exam
Geez, I've got a craving for something, what is it again? thought Ino. She looked around, trying to find her snacklist. Ever since I married Choji, my snacks have been steadily been decreasing, thought Ino. Oh well, at least he's so handsome... Ino started to run out of the room in her chubby body, when she bumped ito Choji. "Ino! I've been looking all over for you!" cried Choji. Confused, Ino asked, "How can you be looking all over for me? I've been in here all day! By the way, where's my snacklist?""Kenji's in his room, looking at it. He wants to decide what snacks to buy. His rations are running low."
Kenji was their 11-year-old son. He, as well, loved to eat snacks. Since everyone loved snacks so much, Ino would come back from a mission every other day with her pockets full of yen, which would be put into a box. This box held their Snack Rationing Fund. "Oh. Tell Kenji he should buy the octopus fries from Funbari instead of Fuji Market. Fuji uses artificial stuff. And tell him I need my list back.""Ok." Choji ran to Kenji's room, very quickly, since he had actually started to exercise. Hmm... thought Ino. Maybe I should exercise too.
Weeks pass by...
Whew... thought Ino. Going to the gym has given me lots of exercise. Ino sprinted toward a mirror. Hey! I can run faster now! When Ino reached the mirror, she gasped in disbelief. I... I look like... I look like my old, chuunin self! I better tell Choji! Running quickly to Choji and Ino's room, she saw Choji. "Hey, I - WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO INO!""Relax, Choji. I am Ino. See?" She lightly lifted up her left sleeve, revealing the kanji for hope. "Y-y-you're Ino? Woah! What happened to your gut?""I wnt to the gym. Of course, you wouldn't have noticed. Remember, I learned Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." Ever since Naruto had become Hokage, he'd let the Jounin kunoichi train with him privately. She'd learned a lot of jutsus, such as Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and Krigakure no Jutsu (he'd been training with the Mizukage). "What do you think of my new figure?" "It's great!""You better like it, because I spent all our rationing fund on it!""WHAT!"
