Prologue
May 19 1988
I don't know what happened. The entire lab exploded,
leaving behind nothing of all the research and tests.
All the other bodies have been found except one. Ronald
DuBois was the only one not recovered. The rest were
terribly burned to death. I fear for my life as the
experiments have escaped. If anyone finds this, heed

The rest of the note was caked in blood. He didn't want to do it but he had to.
She knew too much. Mary was the type to spread anything if she got the chance.
If she escaped before he did, he surely would fry. It was a shame, too. She was
so pretty. Never the less, she needed to be silenced. Now to set the bomb that will
erase this damned research for good.
He worked carefully as not to upset the wires. He rigged the door and slipped out. Two
minutes later, there was a rush of air behind him and then a wave of heat. He nearly stumbled
but managed to keep balanced. Then it hit him. She said the experiments escaped! That meant
that there was still one threat to his plan. The experiment they called "Rukida". Now, who
knows what may happen.
