It was late night on Privet Drive.Everyone was asleep except for Harry
Potter of number 4 Privet Drive.He was up doing his
homework."Hmmm,okay,er,Professor Snape really know's how to give
homework."He sighed and continued doing his potion's homework.About 5
minutes later a Snowy White Owl flew in.Harry looked at the owl and
said,"Hello Hedwig."Hedwig hooted from her cage and Harry looked at her
then back at the other owl who was now on Harry's bed."If you ain't
Hedwig,then who are you?"The owl hooted at him and handed him a
letter.Harry noticed this owl had a gold chain around it's
neck,"Henry?"Harry asked looking at the owl.The owl hooted,and flew off
Harry's bed and out the window.Harry picked up the letter and opened it.He
took out the paper that read:
Dear Harry, How are thing's going?I hope their going well for you.Thing's for me couldnt be better.If I say so myself,my brother's are now older than me.Seem's being the only girl is tough,just like Ginny Weasley.Ah well,I cant complain,having brother's is the best.I am now living down the street from you,wicked eh?I just hope your cousin doesnt like me,he keep's looking at me in the morning's.Maybe you should come over sometime.I'm only two house's down.By the way,did you see the homework Snape gave us?I dunno how he ended up giving a lot more.
Well send me a letter as soon as you can,bye

When Harry got through reading the letter he took out another parchment and wrote down:
Dear Amanda, Thing's are okay.And I think you living down the street is really wicked. And why would Dudley ever like you?I mean you dont like him. Ah,he's just a fuss boy,ignore him...It would be brilliant to visit you, I just hope I can.And yeah,Snape tend's to give everyone a lot of homework.Which I cant stand.

Harry let Hedwig out of her cage and gave her the letter to deliver to Amanda.He watched her go down the street.Harry thought that this was the best day to remember since he had a friend right down the street from him.He seen Amanda peek her head out her window from where he was and she waved hi and he did the same.She sent Hedwig out and shut her window.Harry let Hedwig in and shut his window as well.He put his quill,his parchment,his ink and book's away like alway's so the Dursley's wouldn't see what he was doing at night.
