AN: Well yesterday
I watched a film about a person who lost her memory and had totally
no idea who she is, well somehow I got an idea for a story out of
it.
Summary of the chapter: After something happened she wakes up
in a hospital with nothing else than a memory loss, today she is
allowed to go home. But where is her home and who are all these nice
people, what does she work, does she have a family, and who is this
great person everyone says is her best friend for ages who shell be
really nice?
Summary of the story: She knows how to ride a bike,
drive a car, how to walk, how to ice skate,…but she doesn't know
who she is…now she is slowly about to find out.

Chapter 1:
Who Am I?
"Catherine? Wake up Catherine", she hears someone calling her.
And there I was dreaming of something beautiful and then reality hits me'
"I'm awake, just a few more minutes", she says.
Yea right, yesterday they showed me some pictures and asked me, if I'd recognize someone but I didn't. Not anyone. It's not like I've completely lost my mind, I do know how to ride a bike or drive a car or how to walk, but I don't know who I am and all that, I mean I know that I'm called Catherine, cause everyone here calls me Catherine they said that they won't use my surname cause I'll recognize that by myself later.
And they told me that my daughter, who seems to be called Lindsey is with my sister who's called Nancy for the next 4 weeks. I'm not scared of not seeing my daughter and they told me they explained to everyone even her that I don't recognize any of them.
But hell, I don't even know I have a daughter. It's hard. They told me that today they'll let me go home with someone who is my best friend for more than 20 years and who appears to be my boss too. I don't really know what kind of relationship I have with him. But at the moment he knows more about me than I do.
They said that I don't have anything except the memory loss. That's why they are letting me go and they say if I'm lucky I can get all of my memory back in two weeks.
But this best friend of me needs to be really important to me, I mean I don't remember any of those important things but I know who's number is on speed-dial in my cell phone. The first person on speed dial is someone called Gil where they told me that's him. Then there are Lindsey who appears to be my daughter and Nancy, my sister. I won't put anyone above my daughter but I think I did this because if I need help he's the first one to call cause my daughter is too young to help me.
But anyway I put that person before my sister. So he has to be really important to me.
Now Cath, come on you need to wake up or he'll catch you like this in bed', so she gets slowly up and dresses herself before she packs her things in a bag and sits in a chair while glancing out of the window,
So I have seen this city on TV a few times before, it's this city in a desert with those lot's of casinos and tourists, called Las Vegas, hell even that is still in my mind, here do I live? Seems to be so'
Then there is a knock on her room door.
