It was a normal day in the organization. Marluxia arrived in front of the Grey Area, only to find the door closed. With a sign that says; 'NO MISSION' in a not-so-readable handwriting. He tried to use portal to go inside the Grey Area, but failed. So, he decided to spend time in Beast's Castle, and portaled there.
Beast's Castle
He appeared in the Beast's room, which is empty. He looked around and spotted the rose in the glass container. Which reminded him that he haven't visited his garden yet, so he portaled back to the castle, to his garden.
The Garden…That Never Was
He walked out of the portal, only to see his garden wasn't what it looks like yesterday. The flowers are gone, all of the plants are gone except the trees and his unusually large venus flytrap. His garden. Flowers gone. He opened a portal and walks in furiously.
He walked out. He's now in front of the superior's office.
knock.
No answer.
Knock knock.
Again, no answer.
"I'm going in you like it or not, superior!"
He slammed the door open, only to find it empty.
"tch…"
He portaled to every members' room. All of them are empty.
He decided to check the kitchen.
no one is there.
Laundry room.
No one either
Altar of Naught
The superior or even Saix wasn't there. Now this is getting strange
He decided to check the Grey Area again. He opened a portal, and walked in.
He's now in front of the Grey Area. The door was not closed anymore. Its open. And the lights are off. He walked in, and was about to switch on the lights, when—
Click.
The lights turned on—
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARLY!" everyone shouted. Well, everyone except the superior, Xaldin, Lexaeus, Zexion and Saix
Marluxia was surprised, "wha—"
The Grey Area was decorated with the missing flowers from his garden.
"what day is today?" Marluxia asked
"11th November" Luxord answered
"oh…I forgot…"
"you forgot your own birthday?" Demyx asked
"well…yeah"
"Today's your special day. Just enjoy it you like it or not. I'm outta here" Larxene said, walking out of the Grey Area. The superior and Saix instantly portaled out of the room, same goes to Lexaeus. Zexion portaled to the library, while Xaldin portaled to the kitchen.
"ok…who planned this?"
"at first, waterboy suggested the superior to celebrate your birthday" Axel said
"he agreed?"
"nope. Me and Roxy decided to join in, the boss man didn't have any choice and agreed. we don't want to miss the fun. Right, Roxy?" Axel said
"mainly because he gets to cut off your garden" Roxas replied
"You what?" Marluxia exclaimed
"hey man, calm down! I'm just doing my job!"
"hmph…"
Xigbar smacked his shoulder, "don't be grumpy on your day, Pinky"
"yeah, yeah I know"
Marluxia thought, 'My garden's ruined..but that's worth it'
