"Insanity is like falling off a cliff. All you need is a tiny little push. In my case, that cliff was an apartment building, and you were the push. You look confused. Do you not remember me? I'm not surprised. After all, why would the up-and-coming hero ever need to remember the...what was it you called me, back then?" The villainess snapped her fingers. "That's it! I was 'the quirkless, useless, deku, who only got in the way'!" The girl pulled off her mouth piece and cowl, revealing what should have been a pretty young woman. Her eyes and hair were emerald green, and she had a button nose. The effect was ruined by the jagged white scars scattering her face.

"Turns out, I DO have a quirk! When my life is in jeopardy, I sprout wings made of flame. Problem is, I have to be really hurt before it kicks in. So, when I took your advice, and swan dived off a roof, they popped up AFTER I hit the ground. That's why I disappeared for a year and a half." She sneered. "Not that you noticed, I imagine. I was in the hospital, comatose. When I woke up, I was miserable. I had to repeat two years of school, had no friends, and no hope of ever achieving my dream. Then, the league approached me. Said they had been informed by a mole in the local cops about a girl with a nack for analyzing heroes who was in need of some...support." She giggled, and entwined her fingers with those of the tall, black haired man next to her.

"About ten months, later I met my husband here. Right, darling?" The scarred man smirked at the heroes, before tugging the woman tight against his side, and wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Absolutely, bunny. Ready to head home?" He smiled down at her, gaze warm.

"Only if you help me with this suit. It's a pain." She pouted, warping the scars.

"Promise." A warp gate appeared behind the couple, and the two turned and headed towards it. "Oh, and Shoto?" The man called over his shoulder. "Tell the old fool that his that his firstborn is coming for him." Shoto froze. It couldn't be. He ran towards the disappearing duo, hand outstretched.

"Toya! Wait!" The hero lunged, but fell to the ground as the gate closed.

"I believe the three of us need to have a talk, Bakugo-San, Todoroki-San." Iida's voice echoed slightly from within his helmet.

So, I may turn this into a full fic later, but I think I like it as-is. Cross posted on my tumblr as zebrabaker.
