A/N: Please, please, don't beat me up! I know I really shouldn't be starting another story, but I couldn't help it.....honest!!!!! Please, R/R!!!
It was so cold. So cold she could hardly feel her finger tips as they rolled into a fist. Lightening struck the sky as though all it's anger was too strong to stay put inside the clouds any longer.
Her feet were no longer moving as she lifted her tear stained face upwards towards the house. It still looked as much as a home as it had when they had first moved in. It mocked her as memories played in her mind. She narrowed her eyes angrily.
The house stood for everything she had tried to forget. The past was something that still tore her apart. Her childhood was something that she wanted to forget and at the same time, remember.
Rain poured on around her, and yet she couldn't feel the sting of cold as each drop touched her skin. Her body was paralyzed looking at the place that she had sworn to never return to.
Nothing would ever be the same. It was the truth that had really struck her down. Her once perfect world was crushed in less than a day and there was nothing anyone would ever do to regain that world.
She knew deep down, that no matter how long she ran, eventually she would be found. Because she wasn't as much of a nobody as she wanted. So much so, it scared her to think about what would happen if she was found.
Her brown-green eyes were filled with an unearthly pain that existed only in her soul. It was beyond words, beyond recognition. She was so alone in the world, that she didn't know why she even bothered to keep going.
She took a step forward, and stared at the doorway of the house she had shared with her 7 best friends. They had all been so close at one time. She had finally fallen in love-
She stopped herself abruptly and took a fast step backward as though she had trodden on fire. Everything had come crashing down that day, everything. Her life, her hopes, her dreams, her wishes.
How had it come to this?
Forever, she had dreamed that she would fall in love. And she had promised herself that once she found that person, she would never let him go. She would stick by his side no matter what.
But she had never suspected the one she had fallen in love with was considered a murderer. She knew, deep down, that he was not a murderer. He would never in a million years do what he was accused of.
But the world was against her opinion. They didn't understand him, didn't know him. They never gave him a chance.
Her brown wavy hair swept behind her as the wind began howling around her, threatening to push her away. She sighed as she began to edge towards the door with a final breath of confidence. Her legs were shaky as they walked uncertainly towards the wooden door. Her breath, catching in her throat.
Her clammy hand touched the brass doorknob, and she opened the door to the past with a shaky hand.
