Harry wished he new what to do. He didn't feel remotely confident in his ability to teach others and he was not even sure if he would want to if he was. After all, many of these same people had ostracized him all of last year, and many still did. He had no reason to help them, but then he would look at them and all he would see were kids, just like him, and he knew he couldn't live with himself if he didn't at least try to shield them from the horrors he had endured.

So he was here, numbly watching a bunch of his classmates tear into Hermione as she valiantly tried to defend him. God he wished he knew what to do. Absently he heard one of the Hufflepuff boys say "Potter could tell us more about what happened to Diggory that night" and finally he felt motivated to at least give the boy a response. "I'm not gonna talk about Cedric, so if that's that's why you're here you might as well clear out now." He said after heaving a sigh and staring at the group. Staring them all down, Harry decided that if he was in for a penny, he was in for a pound. "Look, I only agreed to do this because I'm just like you" this statement was met with quiet disbelief "It's true, I'm not invincible, he'll i'm not even the smartest person in this room. The only thing that's different between you and me is that I've had to use my magic to save my life." The room was silent now as each person was entranced by Harry's words.

"I've had to fight, and kill, and endure horrible pain all so that I could survive. I have already experienced what it is to be afraid, not of a bully or a parent or a teacher, but of horrible things" Harry was beginning to lose himself to his anger "of hearing your mother's scream every time a dementor is near" more than a few eyes widened at that "of finding a loved one petrified" Hermione flinched at that and Ginny lowered her head "of having to enter a duel knowing you cannot win" Harry's voice cracked with emotion as he glared at the group.

"You all think I am a liar, that Voldemort is dead, that's fine, I don't give a damn what you think about me, but it doesn't change the fact that the world is still a very dangerous place without him. You need to know the stakes, real fights aren't between Griffindors and Slitherens and it doesn't matter if your Draco Malfoy, or Cedric Diggory, YOUR STILL JUST FUCKING KIDS!"

Harry was panting at the end of his tirade, his magic swirling around him as he stared at the pale, terrified faces of his fellow students, and suddenly all the wind left his sails. Harry stumbled back across the room to his seat and eyed the group, suddenly feeling much older than 15.

"None of you deserve to live what I have lived, to learn how I have learned." He spoke softly "that is why I am offering to teach you." There was a shocked pause as everyone took that in before a small voice asked "is he really back?"

Harry looked sharply at the young Creevy for a second before his eyes softened. He gave the slightest of nods to the boy before he turned to face the crowd "Thats all I have to say" he mumbled, feeling remarkably foolish after his tantrum. However to his surprise, everyone sprung up and got in line to sign up for the "club" as soon as Hermione was done shakily explaining how it would work.

Harry still wasn't sure that he would be capable of teaching these people anything, but looking at the earnestness with which they all seemed to be taking his words, Harry once again felt the weight of responsibility being placed upon him, though this time it was accompanied by a warm glow Harry wasn't quite sure he could explain yet.
