Song of the Lioness

She lied seven years to get her shield.

Disguised as a boy she fooled them all.

Now a knight she has achieved her long-life dream.

Focusing on her journey as through the ice she falls.

Copper strands swirl in the desert breeze.

Violet eyes gleam with magical fire.

Walking through a freak blizzard she starts to freeze.

She falls into the cave to face the Guardian's ire.

Lightning's sharp blade pierces the large ape.

The Dominion Jewel sought for the king.

The Shang Dragon roars and snarls in wild fury.

She magicked him asleep, and his one true fear clings.

The Dragon's affections are lost now.

After fooling all she invokes prayers.

To be both warrior and woman at all times.

She wants the love of the King of the Tricksters.

The Great Mother Goddess' chosen.

Bringing about a new eras turn.

With Faithful her black cat with violet eyes

Rides on Moonlight tall and stern.

Once rogue, now Baron turned Spymaster.

She wants now what she used to contemn.

A wife, warrior, healer, and one-day mother.

But, first she must save the realm.
