"I told you today wasn't gonna be a good day for a baseball game." Artemis complained as the team was standing under a ledge, waiting for the train to take them out of the pouring rain.

"Well we got these tickets a month ago. Plus, I love Chicago! Even though they do have pretty bad weather all the time." Dick mentioned.

Kaldur stepped out to look for the train. He looked at his watch and sighed.

"The train isn't supposed to come for another 16 minutes." Megan said.

"Why didn't we take the bio ship into town?" Conner asked.

"It would be too conspicuous. Plus, we can't come here every week, and we need to take in the full experience!" Wally stated. Everyone stared out at the bleak rain falling down. The sky was gray with tiny spots of blue showing through.

Then Wally started quietly mumbling.

"All around the water tank waitin' for a train."

Dick decided to join in a little louder.

"A thousand miles away from home sleeping in the rain."

Kaldur and Artemis joined in.

"I walked up to a brakeman just to give him a line of talk."

M'gann and Conner joined in next.

"He said if you've got money I'll see that you don't walk."

Then they all started singing, getting louder each line.

"Well I haven't got a nickel not a penny can I show.

He said get off you railroad bum and he slammed the boxcar door.

Well he put me off in Texas a place I dearly love.

The wide open spaces all around me the moon and stars above.

Nobody seems to want me nor to lend me a helping hand.

I'm on my way from Frisco headin' back to Dixie Land.

My pocketbook is empty my heart is willed with pain.

I'm a thousand miles away from home just waitin' for a train!"

By the end of the song, they were all laughing and smiling and dancing.

"Hey! The rain stopped!" Artemis yelled. And soon enough, the train rolled into the station. They jumped onto the train to realize no one was on their car, and they all sat down.

"So, do you still think it was a bad day to come out here?" Wally asked.

Artemis rolled her eyes.

"Any one want to come back next week?" M'gann asked.

They were still wet by the time they arrived back at the base. Canary was surprised.

"I take it the game was rained out?"

"Yeah." They said unanimously.

"I'm also guessing you didn't enjoy your time then."

They all laughed, remembering the station, leaving Canary to figure it out on her own.

So today My ma, sister, her boyfriend, and I went down to Chicago today to see the Cubs game, but it was pouring almost all day, so we ended up getting a bite to eat and going back home. But we had to wait at the station for a while, and this couple was standing next to us, and he started singing a little bit, and my sis's boyfriend started dancing a little, and we had the best time waiting for the train, and I thought it might make a cute little story.
