Blaine listened intently as Kurt relayed what happened at regionals. From the story he was being told, Blaine thought Kurt would either be super depressed or just pissed, but Kurt seemed so happy. He just couldn't fathom how Kurt could be so calm about losing. Where was the competitive diva that had been so focused on winning? Where was the bitchy Kurt that he had come to care for so much?
"Wait. I-I don't get it. You don't seem that sad."
Kurt let out a little laugh of disbelief and smiled at the statement.
"I-It was still amazing! I flew in a plane for the first time in my life. I had breakfast at Tiffany's. I sang on a Broadway Stage!"
Blaine smiled. There was the other Kurt. The one that Bitchy Kurt hid. The one that wore his heart on his sleeve. The one that was so selfless and so caring and passionate. The one that only a lucky few had the privilege to see. The one that Blaine had fallen for.
"I love you."
Blaine hadn't meant to say the words. They just came out as soon as he realized it, but there was no way he was gonna take the words back when they felt so right. Blaine felt his heart swell at the feeling of saying that aloud, but that didn't mean he wasn't worried. There wasn't a guarantee that Kurt loved him back after all.
He watched calmly, although on the inside he was freaking out, as his boyfriend, the man he loved, swallowed the bit of coffee he had taken into his perfect looked on as a pale pink dusted his amazing boyfriend's cheeks and a small disbelieving smile took over the boy's luscious lips. The next sentence said made Blaine's smile get so big it hurt and put all his fears and doubts to rest.
"I love you, too."
A/N-Okay, all of you waiting for new chapter of Scars, It will be out by tonight. This is not me jumping on the bandwagon because I wrote this the very night they said this to each other. (I think it was the 25th). I wrote it at 3am. I was delirious, so I had my beta-reader fix anything I miss-spelt or randomly threw in. I watched that scene over and over again (so happy I record every Glee episode) just to know what they said and did. It was freaking adorable. The reason I haven't posted is because I wrote it on my ipod on notepad and you can only upload documents and I am gonna shut up now cause my A/N is almost as long as my story.
P.S- Go read all of buildmeapyramid's stuff because she is the most amazing writer I know! :D
