Loyalty… Duty… Love. Three words. Three words that had dictated Aoi's life. Loyalty to the queen. Duty to Windbloom. Love for the girl queen she had raised. Who had been like a stubborn little sister to Aoi, always pestering people and seemingly selfish, but no matter what Aoi loved her. She had believed Mashiro would become a great queen, one who would be looked up too by all. Never once had that belief faded, even when Nagi took over Windbloom. Which was why she had jumped from that cliff. Seeing the queen in that moment, tears falling from her eyes and shaking with fear, she had made her choice.
She would die for the queen, and almost had.
Now she would slowly stand back as Mashiro became that great queen Aoi knew she would. Slowly she would prepare Mashiro for life without her and then she would leave. Maybe she would go to Aries, to Chie, perhaps the only person who owned more of her heart than Mashiro did. That however was the future, for now she would support the queen and continue to be her big sister, her mother and trusted friend.
No matter what happened she beleived in Mashiro, and by extension Arika, to do the right thing.
"It's all right. I believe in you. Mashiro-sama will definitely become a great queen,"
