Walk of Shame

The floor was suddenly the most interesting thing in the whole apartment building, as Alec appeared to be very engaged in a staring contest with it. How does he always get himself in to these messes? Besides the obvious excuse of his horribly pushy siblings and friends. Well, there was no getting away from it now. All Alec could do is keep his head down, and avoid that old lady that had been giving him a weird look when he appeared suddenly, disheveled and covered in glitter. One night stands just did not look pretty on him, did they? Especially when they were with cute, glittering guys that wink at him from across the bar. Just the thought had caused him to remember the frantic kissing, the fire that burned across his skin, the beautiful gold green eyes. If he wasn't blushing before, he definitely was now.

Distractedly, Alec had pressed the first button he saw, trying desperately to remember what had happened last night, besides the gold green eyed stranger and being absolutely wasted. He remembered going to the club with his sister, Jace and his girlfriend, Clary, Simon, and a few others. He remembered the amount of beer he had, making him shiver in disgust. Then he remembered Isabelle stealing his keys, and telling him to go have fun, not before winking at him.

Well, that explains why he was here. His friends had, of course, left him out to dry.

With a ding, the elevator opened and he had quickly got in, hoping that no one saw him. Alec leaned against the elevator wall with a scowl, he was definitely never doing this again. The shame was melting his insides (that, and the hangover), and he could not wait to chew at his sister for leaving him with some stranger, no matter how handsome he was.

Later, Alec would find a small note tucked into his jeans, causing his whole face to be red with embarrassment.

On a small slip of paper, there were the three words 'Call me ;) - Magnus' with a number scribbled in purple ink.

And, naturally, Alex had called him later that day.
