Author's Note: Hello! I have never ever written for a movie before. Not even on my old fanfiction account that I deleted everything off of… So I am hoping that this is good. I am obsessed with all of the High School Musical Movies. Leave a review and let me know what you think of this, but please don't be too harsh. :)
Start of Something New
It is 2030 and soul mates Gabriella and Troy Bolton are getting ready for their son Robert (Robbie) Bolton to start his freshman year of high school at East High School, their alma mater.
"Got everything?" Troy Bolton asks his son Robbie as they and Gabriella get ready to walk out the front door.
"I think so. I'm a little nervous." Robbie admits to his parents, biting his lip.
"Don't be. High school is great. Isn't it honey?"Gabriella asks her husband.
"At times, but there can be some rough patches."Troy admits.
"Just do not get in trouble and you will be fine."Gabriella reassures her son with a smile and Troy nods.
"Your mother's right. Don't do drugs, drink alcohol, or let your grades slip and you will be set to a great future."Troy says and gives his son a reassuring pat on the back.
"Thanks guys. I think I'm ready to go."Robbie says and they all leave and hop in the car.
"You will meet a lot of great people. Many of our friends' kids go here, so you should be able to make friends easily."Gabriella says smiling at her son in the backseat as she drives them to the school.
The Boltons recently moved back to the area after living in California for many years.
"Bye Robbie. Have a great day!"Gabriella says to her son as he gets out of the car.
"You'll be fine buddy. Have fun."Troy says to his son as he also gets out of the car.
Troy Bolton is the boys' basketball coach at East High School.
"But not too much fun…"Gabriella quickly adds.
"I know. Bye guys. See you later!"Robbie says and walks up to the entrance of East High School.
'This is it' Robbie thinks to himself before walking through the front doors.
