It's the day before Ash's birthday he's so excited about tomarrow. Because he turns 10 and will finally be old a enough to become a pokemon trainer. And pursue his dream of being a pokem master. The story starts off with ash getting ready for bed at 10:00 p.m. he's so excited he can hardly sleep.
Ash: Wow, I can't believe it.
Ash: Tomarrow I'm finally gonna be old enough to have a pokemon.
Ash: I have three starters Bulbasaur Charmander and Squirtle. I wonder which one should I choose.
Ash: I can't make up my mind. All three of them sound awesome.
Then he closes his eyes and falls asleep. The next morning it's 7 a.m. his alarm clock goes off. And he awakes right up.
Ash: I'm finally 10 years old and finally old enough to be a pokemon trianer.
He's so excited. He gets dressed and runs right down stairs. And as he's about to walk right out the front door his mom Delia stops him.
Delia: hold it right there! Ash Ketchum!
She walks right over to him and kisses him on the cheek.
Delia: Good luck Ash and have a safe journey.
Ash: Thanks mom I will.
He then walks over to Professor Oak's lab and on the way he bumps into his best friend he knew ever since they were baby's Gary Oak.
Gary: Hi Ash. I hear it's your birthday. Well happy birthday.
Ash: Thanks gary!
Gary Yeah no problem. Anyway are you heading over to my Grandpa's?
Ash: You bet I am. I'm off there to get a starter pokemon.
Gary: Are you now?
Ash: I am why?
Gary: I'm on my way there to. So since it's your birthday. I'll let you choose first!
Ash: You really mean it?
Gary: Of course.
They both arrive at Professor Oak's lab and he greets them.
Professor Oak: Why hello Ash and Gary. I can see you are here right on time. Can I assume that both of you are ready to choose your starter pokemon?
They both answer at the same time.
Ash and Gary: Yes I am.
Professor Oak: Here are your choices the grass pokemon Bulbasaur the flame pokemon Charmander and the shell squirtle.
Gary: You can choose first Ash. It is your birthday after all.
Ash Thanks Gary.
Then Ash starts to think about which one he should choose. He knew that he chould only choose one of them. So he thought about it and he chose.
Ash: Ok, I've decided the pokemon I want is bulbasaur.
