Sea Muse ~ The Song of Eldorado
I am a Seagull,
Riding the stormy thermal,
Of a foggy muggy day,
Circling round the edges,
So wings my world away.
I am a Daydream,
And much more than I seem,
To fade as I go
Deep into the darkness.
Tis the only way I know.
I am a Daisy,
For both Rue and Rosemary,
Here rend my roots in twain.
With Le Mouron Rouge besides,
In the fog and in the rain.
I am a Sea Mew,
So cry for me and you,
Forever and a year,
Salt and water mingle,
And never drop a tear.
I am a Fate,
I stand behind and wait,
To twine a chain of time,
Round hearts and stars,
Both earthly and divine.
I am a Seagull
Diving down the thermal,
Of a day pristinely clear,
By Chance - Chance only
You fly to joy from fear.
