Author's Note: I really don't know how to explain this, but I was watching American McGee's Alice walkthroughs and Alice: Madness returns so if you know, or played, both games, you should already know the plot for this. This is my first Kuroshitsuji FC so I hope it comes out good and you'll like it.
Title: Death Waltz
Summary: "Elizabeth…what have you done?"

Prologue:
"Your fiancé is no more, not that he ever had a life to begin with. He was my food, a prize; he was a foolish human who was nearing madness and blinded with revenge. Yet you, an innocent little girl, or so assumed to be, figured out what I was without the need of voicing. You are a sharp and clever girl, perhaps the most out of your deranged family. Then again, I can see that also foolishness is in the blood is it not?" He purred so slyly.
"I beg your pardon? If you're going to make stand here and listen to you insult my family, I rather not. I've got more important-"
"You buffoon; it was your insanity that created this land; your denial is the reason why this place and it's people exists; your mind and wonderland are one in the same Elizabeth! The destruction of wonderland is the destruction of you. Your madness continues to grow in size and is becoming harder to control. Your sanity is long gone; once something is lost, it can no longer be regained. Your dearest fiancé never failed to drill that into my system." This cat spat his words out like venom as his eyes narrowed. Watching the blonde girl struggle what to say was such an amusement. Elizabeth was definitely smarter than his young master ever was. It was clear in the eye of this demon, and although he would not admit it, but he almost thought about being wary about her. He knew of her discovery of him after they had gotten off the ship, and that's when his partial concern began. He knew that it was not a mere novel she was reading, but instead things such as executions and demonology. He would feel the glance (or glare if you prefer) that bored into the back of his head. However, at the time he did not consider her threat; instead a mosquito resisting his death. Perhaps he was the fool indeed.
It wasn't until the green-eyed girl spoke again that he was awoken from his train of thoughts.
"Well then, I guess I'll just to prove him wrong. It'll just be like a game as if we were children. I'm not losing anything you call competition." Elizabeth replied grinning smartly. She knew she had shut the damn demon up enough for her to concentrate a bit longer.
"Your courage is much to be admired for, Lady Elizabeth, and your soul to be enjoyed when I devour it; not many can handle a traumatizing adventure like this. Perhaps some assi-"
"Make no mistake demon; I will not fall to such weakness and let you complete this journey for me. It is like you said: I created this world…even if it's now disturbed. I must avenge my family and fiancé for their deaths. I will not fail!"
"Whatever you say, my lady, whatever you say." With that alone, the cunning demon disappeared, and dear Elizabeth continued on with her journey.
