This story takes place after the events of OOT. It starts in Kokori Forest, when Link have just returned. He and Saria sits on the balcony of Links tree house. The words in a (Thing like this) is Saria's thoughts
"Its so great to have you back, I've really missed you!" Saria said and looked at Link
"I missed you too" Link answered softly. Saria leaned her head on links torso and felt his chest going up and down
after a while, Link said: "There's something I need to tell you"
"OK link, don't you know that you can say anything to me?" Saria answered calmly but her heart was going Boom Boom Boom
(He likes me! He likes me! He likes me!)
" I have a kinda big problem..." Link said. "Oh.." Saria answered, her heart fell back to normal speed. "Then I'll try to help you as best as I can."
" well... you see.. I am.. engaged" Link said and looked down
(WHAT!)
"to who?" Saria asked, trying to sound less disappointed than she was. "Ruto" link answered with a low voice.
(That Bitch!)
"Whats so bad about being engaged to Ruto, she's a princess.. and she's very beautiful!" Saria said, trying to cheer link up a bit.
"Yeah, but I don't love her" Link said, looking sad into Saria's eyes.
(yes! Yes! YES!)
"Oh..." Saria said , she was extremely happy when she heard Link didn't love Ruto, but didn't wanted it to look that she enjoyed him being forced to marry someone he didn't love
"Who do you love then?... is it Zelda?" Saria asked
(IT BETTER NOT BE!)
"No it isn't" Link replied
(YES!)
"Come on Link, tell me. I'm your best friend after all"Saria said
"OK, I'll tell you" Link said

after a few minutes have passed without Link saying anything, Saria said " Come on Link, I don't have all day!" "You don't?" Link answered joking.
(It's probably Malon, I shouldn't have asked)
"Saria?" "Yes?" "I love you!"
