I wrote this a while back ago and never remembered to upload it (maybe cause I don't like it haha) but I'll publish it just for shits and giggles.

A quiet beeping sound awoke the sleeping girl from her peaceful slumber, but unlike most would do if they were disturbed from their rest at two in the morning, Juvia's eyes fluttered open as she gracefully jumped out of her silk-sheeted bed and onto the floor. The blunette's petite body crawled on the hardwood surface, using her bed as a guide, so that she could reach the sound. There. Her delicate fingers slid over the ground when they suddenly felt a cold and hard object, which would be her final goal. Quickly grabbing the laptop, Juvia placed it on her lap as she rested against her bed and proceeded to flip open the screen revealing her desktop. After clicking a few buttons the beeping had ceased and a small smile crept onto her face as she read the message before her.
It was from HIM. A man she met online not even a year ago. At first, they came across each other on an MMORPG (massively multi-player online role playing game), Juvia's character was name 'TheRainwoman' the reason for this name was because Juvia had always been likened to the rain-like it followed her around- though she hated the rain, this particular username seemed fit for her character specialized in using water based attacks. Now to him.. His character went by the name of 'IceMasterGray,' which Juvia instantly thought sounded very exciting and took a liking to because, well, water and ice are one and the same. It was almost meant to be when she encountered him looking for a water mage to assist him on a certain quest.
Anyway as time went on, TheRainwoman and IceMasterGray grew very close, fighting battle after battle together, healing each other, questing together and so much more. They were a team, a party in game-jargon, and a very strong and inseparable one at that. Juvia and her online partner scheduled in accordance with each other; logging off to do work, rest and eat at the same and returning again in accordance. It was simply wonderful. Three or so months into playing with each other as a team, this 'IceMasterGray' decided to take a step further into their friendship by private-messaging her links to his "IRL" (in real life) account, specifically for chatting throughout all hours of the day. Juvia, however, saw this as one of the kindest gestures anyone had ever made towards her. All her life she had been shunned and lonely for reasons she didn't even know, resulting in having no friends. That's why she turned to online gaming and now she met this man.. This wonderful man who brought light into her life. Gray was the sun to her Earth.
Juvia loved him. It was crazy and she knew it, she didn't even know him for Mavis's sake! He was just a comrade. No.. A friend? Acquaintance? No, that's all wrong. All of it. Gray was much more that that. He was her everything at this point, obviously, considering she was willing to leap from her slumber to respond to his simple message of "You awake?" which he sent every night around this time and which she sillily replied to with, "Nope. :)" From the other side of the brightly lit computer screen Gray Fullbuster chuckled at her answer and smiled back at what was in front of him.
Although the distance kept them apart, their hearts were now wound to each others in what seemed to be an impenetrable bind.
