I was looking at the lyrics of some of Martina McBride's songs and thought this sounded cute. So this'll be my first Animorphs SONG-FICCIE!

I'm proud. Because I have writers block and I can't even think up another chapter for 'The Fight' but I can do a song-fic…

Of a lonely night

Rachel walked down the empty road, soaking wet in rain. It was not a good evening for her. She was alone…and unloved. Or was she…

Gone a thousand miles
Through a storm-filled sky

Meaningless thoughts raced through her mind.

Looking for some light

She needed love. She longed to be held close to somebody who would love her. Someone who would care.

Never dreamed of turning back
But faced the wind instead

She looked ahead and there she saw…

Someone was waiting for her. Just what she wanted. Yet, tears streamed down her cheeks and not a single pull of a smile would appear at the corner of her lips. But she walked faster, for she knew who was waiting.

Faster and Faster she walked. And the closer she strolled up to him, she could see his soothing, glowing smile.

Then she broke into a sprint the rest of the way, and jumped into his embrace and buried her face in his chest.
"Tobias."

She looked up into his gorgeous, hazel eyes. He looked back down at her.

He lifted his hand to her face, and wiped away her tears.
"Rough evening?" He asked softly.
She tried to nod but out came a small sob as she collapsed onto him and began crying.

"Hey," He said and gently lifted up her face to look at him.

She looked at him with teary, innocent eyes. Tears strum down her face.

Gently he leaned down to her and kissed her lips gently.
She slowly closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck.

After a while, he slowly broke apart from her and looked into her soft blue eyes.
"You can always come to me."

The kind of feelin' that words can't explain.

"Thanks," She said to him. "I love you so much."
