"All the tables nice and clean.
Evelyn's asleep
On the graveyard shift again
Selling gasoline…"
She danced along to the slow lyrics that came from her lips. Her hair falling like an auroral , curled portiere of dark sapphire strands around her alabaster skin.
'And there's kids smoking on south first
See high-school was just a blur, to her
And everything just found their place it seemed...'
The moist dirt beneath her bare feet left stains on her skin, but the earth felt like silk to her as it slipped between her toes. The patches of grass tickled her heels and ankles.
'"There's an old folk song on the radio
Sounding thin and dark and haunted
There's a bag of weed in the back beneath the books…" Lilith glanced up to Jax, the moonlight deepening her green eyes. "Dance with me, Jacky." She chuckled, alcohol influencing most of her actions.
"You're drunk." He chuckled, his typical grin played along his lips. He reach out an arm to stable her as she stumbled a bit, almost spilling her bottle of Tennessee whiskey. "You're really drunk, Lil." He rubbed his unshaven face, grinning.
"I might be a little buzzed…" She shrugged, tilting the bottle to her lips. "Maybe." She confessed, sort of. "Hey, who said you could call me Lil, Jacky?" Lilith tilted the glass bottle towards him warningly.
"Buzzed?" Gemma sauntered up, hands famously placed at her hips. The moonlight shone right at her, illuminating the amused look on her face.
"Buzzed." Lilith confirmed, about to take another sip from her Jack Daniels bottle.
"Oh. No. No more for you, Ms. 'buzzed'." Gemma took the bottle from her lips, and dumped the contents onto the grass.
"Mama- I mean Gemma- how could you?" Lilith whined, scrunching up her nose. "I mean yeah, it's a bad habit I should drop but…." She babbled on, waving her small hands here and there. Jackson, plucked her up easily, propped her over one of his broad shoulders and carried her off. "Hey! Put me down, I'll struggle.." She slurred, but didn't struggle.
"You are such hypocrite." Jax shook his head, laughing as he carried her back into the Clubhouse.
"I am no such thing." She mumbled as Jax struggled to open the clubhouse door, and not drop her. He finally got the door to swing open, and music poured from the now open Clubhouse. Hollers, loud laughter and conversations could be heard.
"Wow Lil you really let yourself go." Chibs chuckled at the small yet curvy woman on Jackson's shoulder.
"Hey. None of your business." said Lilith, pointing warningly at him as they passed. She attracted quite a few pairs of eyes as she was carried from the main room to the hall, and finally to a bedroom.
Jackson plopped her onto the bed that she used to sleep in. "You should go to sleep." She lay still on the bed, face down into the dark (freshly washed) blanket. She let out a groan. "Sleep. Lilith." He said, a somewhat stern tone to his voice, as he exited the room.
She wiggled around on the bed, flipping herself over with a grunt. Her fingers fumbled to grab the hem of her shirt, and pull it over her shoulders and head. The buttons of her pants, and her zipper were the real struggle. It took the heavily intoxicated girl about none short of four minutes to undo the contraption. She tried pushing the tight denim down her hips, but failed. She failed pretty badly too.
Lilith gave up at undressed and just rolled over, falling asleep. The brunette girl slept soundly through the night, grasping onto a pillow that still smelled slightly of her older (only by a year) best friend. With little movement, she slept until late into the next day. The hands on the clock determined time had passed a solid eight hours she had hibernated.
