Prologue-
The galaxy has changed. Palpatine, once the Chancellor of the Republic, is now Emperor. His empire is tyrannical and cruel. His officers have no care for anyone except themselves. At the very heart of this cruelty is the Emperor's right hand, Lord Vader.
Whispered to be without a heart, and being possessed of a sadistic mind, Vader is the most feared and powerful man in the galaxy. Even the Emperor is frightened of Vader.
But there is hope for the galaxy. The Alliance to Restore the Republic is the first organization that has stood any real chance of freeing the galaxy. Two of the most intelligent and wise people stand near the top of the Rebellion- Princess Leia Organa and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.
And within the Empire, there is a beloved voice of reason. Famous for criticizing the Emperor and challenging his policies, this voice belongs to one of the most beloved people in the galaxy, Senator Amidala.
Within these four people lies the hope for the galaxy.
Destiny will bring them together.
Will fate tear them apart?
