"Annabeth, Your eyes sparkle like the moon.
You are as fiery as the sun,
Beautiful as the stars at night.
I'm a simple boy, but I love you-"
Cartman stopped, cracking up. "Jesus, this is the gayest thing you've ever done, Kahl."
Kyle stared daggers at him, raising his fist to ram into Fatass' face.
"Give that back, you asshole!" Kyle yelled, his cheeks red with embarassment and anger. Cartman chuckled and sprinted off, down the stairs, out the house, and to his own house, probably to get ready to make fun of him tomorrow.
Dammit, how did he even find out I was writing that to Annabeth? Kyle thought.
He remembered when he first saw her, nine hours ago, at Eight o'clock.
She was standing there, beaming as Mr. Garrison rambled on about how to treat her nice because she was new. Her tan skin was complimented by her long, curly, dark hair. She was wearing an olive green sweatshirt, a white T-Shirt poking out. Her Dark blue jeans were a bit dirty, implying that she did stuff like playing in th dirt or skateboard or something. Kyle wasn't really sure. She was wearing white sneakers with a black trim, which was pretty cool in Kyle's opinion. He was lost in his thoughts, examining her beauty. "-ook's like Jew is in loove!" Cartman said, laughing. Stan rolled his eyes and Kenny mumble something perverted. "Fuck you, fatass." Kyle said, glaring at him. "-your seat will be next to.. eh, why not Kyle." Mr. Garrison finished, just as Kyle started listening. Kyle was happy; I mean, who wouldn't be when a really hot new chick who you have a crush on is going to sit next to you? Annabeth sat down next to Kyle, and beamed.
Kyle slightly smiled, trying to seem sociable. "Alright, Mr. Hat, what is it we're working on today?" Mr. Hat replied, "You're doing an essay with the person next to you!" Mr Hat nodded his head with every word. A few cheers, a few groans, but for the most part people were just kinda 'eh' about their partner. Kyle's mind was exploding with happiness, but Kyle just kind of smiled and looked over at Annabeth. And so the morning was spent planning out the essay and getting it partially started. Annabeth would crack a joke here and there, and Kyle would smile.
The lunch bell rang and Kyle took a deep breath. "So, Annabeth, you eating lunch with the girls?" Kyle asked, looking at her. "Nah, they seem to be the bitch pack of the school." Annabeth replied, grabbing her lunch bag. "Oh, well, okay. Do you want to sit with us?" Kyle replied, his top front teeth biting his lip, waiting for her to reply. As the kids marched off to lunch, talking about subjects of mild interest, Kyle was thinking. If all this went smooth, he could become good friends with Annabeth. Kyle sat down at the table, and Annabeth sat down with them. "A girl sitting at our table, eh? Well, it's not abnormal, you can thank Butters for that." Cartman said, looking at her. Cartman looked at Kyle and said, "Of course, we also have Jew here." Kyle glared at him and said, "Shut the fuck up, fatass." "Fine, fine, sneaky jew." Cartman mumble the last part. Annabeth was simply chewing her sandwich, looking at both. Not much happened for the rest of the day; The lull of work and boredom, the sweet release at the end of the day...
Kyle walked over to the bike rack where he had locked up his scooter, when he heard, "Kyle, I'd like to thank you for being so nice today." Annabeth looked at him, having finished her sentence. Annabeth walked up to him, took a deep breath, and kissed him on the cheek. Kyle sat there, mouth open, shellshocked. Annabeth walked home, and Kyle finally recovered, riding his scooter home. He got home and sat on his computer, browsing facebook a while, until around five or six, he began writing a love letter.
