Kurt and Blaine.

Blaine and Kurt.

Klaine.

Blurt.

Everone was shocked when the two had told them that they were together. It wasn't that people couldn't see them together, because strangers would ask if they were dating, but still...Kurt and Blaine together was just weird to think about.

Kurt and Blaine had been friends since kindergarten, where they first met each other in Mrs. Potts class. The two hit it off almost instantly, and ever since then had been damn near inseperable.

The two were there for each other when Kurt came out and again when Blaine did. They were together when Kurt's mom died, and when Blaine's big brother was killed by a drunk driver. Hell, they were even together when Kurt's dad married Finn's mom. They were always together, through everything, so hearing that they were together made sense in Burt Hummel's mind. He knew the day would come that Kurt got a boyfriend, but did he expect it to be Blaine Anderson? No, not at all, though it was a welcome surprise. The only awkward part was meeting him for a fourth time.

First, he'd met that curly headed bal of energy when Kurt was in kindergarten, as Kurt's new best friend.

Then, at Kurt's insistence, after his son had come out, as Kurt's Guy-Friend.

Later, he'd had to repeat that, meeting him as Kurt's Gay Guy-Friend.

And now, a fourth time, as Kurt's boyfriend.

"This is going to be a long night." Burt Hummel said to his reflection. He braced himself as he heard Kurt's voice call out to everyone, telling them that he and Blaine were there.

Burt's sigh of relief that his only son (well, besides Finn) was home safe and sound mixed with the dread of meeting his son's boyfriend-even if Burt did know him when he wore Pull-Ups.
