I'm a Phineas & Ferb fan… saw "Candace Disconnected" and just had to do this little plot bunny ficlet.

Perry was walking down the hallway to Doof's doorway. Rolling his eyes, he wondered what "inator" Doof would have come up with today. Somehow Doof always managed to surprise him even after all this time.
Getting out a hand-held battering ram Perry bashed open the door, having forgotten his key in his lair.
"Perry the Platypus!" exclaimed a wide-eyed Dr. Doof, turning around. Grimly Perry tossed aside the battering ram as Doof threw his arms into the air. It always amused Perry how surprised Doof was every time the secret agent showed up, and then how cranky he got when Perry didn't show up on time. Unlike Doof not recognizing him sans hat, it never got old.
"What?" he exclaimed. First putting his hands near his heart and then akimbo he protested, "I didn't do anything wrong today. I just built an inator to pick up my daughter."
Perry just stared blankly at Doof as he continued: "Hey, as long as you're here why don't you join me for my evil exercise show?"
The pointy nosed doctor opened up his lab coat to reveal a black and grey tank top and black sweatpants, looking completely earnest. Happily he commented hopefully, "I got a spare headband…"
First Perry blinked. Looking down the hallway, the teal platypus knew that there was no escape. He would have to join his nemesis in a probably cheesy exercise routine. Looking back at Doof, Perry finally sighed and entered the apartment. Best to get it over with so the sooner he could get back to Phineas and Ferb.
