Hello folks, just a pre warning this has spoilers for season 5!

So here is a short scene I wished we could have had. I've been thinking about writing it for a while so I just had to finally put it on paper so to speak.

Just imagine Kenzi didn't leave after episode 2 season 5. Set after Bo's birthday present from Tamsin.

Hauling her purse onto the floor Kenzi flops down on top of the hard sofa and sighs, loudly. Placing her head in her hands she groans as she feels she has a marching band playing loudly, alongside a troop of cheerleaders prancing around inside her brain.

"Never again," she utters.

"Hi there! Didn't know you were back already,"

Kenzi squints, looking up. Seeing one of her BFF's and also surrogate daughter of sorts walk into the main living area wrapped in a bed sheet.

"Tam Tam, turn the volume down a bit Mama's got a headache,"

The blonde shuffles to the fridge and pulls out two bottles of water. Between wincing and sighing Kenzi can see Tamsin's nervous.

"Well you know, gotta get going," the Valkyrie shrugs and starts to wander out of the room.

"Hold up there! You have two bottles of water there. Either you're super thirsty or we have company. As Moma Kenz I just have to ask who and see if they're suitable for my Tam Tam," Kenzi sits up straight and tries her best to sound authoritative.

Tamsin waits a beat.

"Thirsty, just really thirsty, you know. It was so warm last night and I just feel so dehydrated, it's all good now though," she smiles. The move not reaching her eyes.

Kenzi now knows she's lying. It was snowing outside and the shack has hardly any heating.

Before Kenzi has time to reply a holla come down the stairs.

"Tamsin! You'd better hurry up I'm dying up here!"

Tamsin's eyes nearly bulge out of her eye sockets.

"Hannng on just a minute! Is that Bo Bo calling?" Kenzi looks at the stairs then back at the blonde then back at the stairs.

Her mouth hangs open and she just blinks at Tamsin.

"I can explain, honest. It's not what it looks like..."

Kenzi holds up a finger to silence her and takes a deep breath.

"Come, sit," she says and pats the seat next to her.

"But..."

"Just sit, Bo can wait,"

Tamsin sighs and makes her way over to the dark haired girl.

At that moment Bo comes racing downstairs fully nude.

"Tams...Woah Kenz, didn't know you'd be here! Shit, um Let me get dressed!"

"You! Come back here and help me out!" Tamsin says as Bo rushes back upstairs.

"You coward!" she utters quietly.

"So Bo, huh? Didn't see this one coming, actually no I did. I see the way you look at her Tamsin,"

"Look it was her birthday and I gave her a shit present, so I thought, what to get a succubus who has everything. No big deal," Opening up her water bottle she takes a long swig.

"Tamsin, my dear child," Kenzi says dramatically patting the blondes sheet covered leg, "I know that's not true. Well in some ways it is, it was a shit present. I mean a magic pussy really? Anyway that's besides the point. You have feelings for her don't you? Maybe even love her? I never really took much notice, I should have, I should have been there for you. I could see you pining for her, starting arguments with Lauren. It's so obvious in hindsight," Kenzi smiles sadly at her friend.

"Well, you know. You've gotta fight for what, or who you really want right?" Tamsin replies looking into her lap.

"And you have you have my full blessing by the way. Just don't be too loud and don't get your heart broken,"

"Thanks Kenz," Tamsin smiles and hugs the smaller girl.

"Hang on does that mean I also have to give you the 'don't hurt my best friend or I will hit you with a shovel speech too'?"

"No, you're good,"

"Okay, now go get your girl," Kenzi smiles and smacks Tamsin's bottom as she rushes upstairs.
