DISCLAIMER: As much as I would love to own Ron, and all the other Harry Potter characters. I don't. All characters belong to J.K Rowling.

This takes place a few years after Harry defeated Voldemort. So don't get confused.

This is written for the Glee Prompt Challenge by Ninja Potter. :]

Prompt: the song Marry You. [hence the title :P] So on that note, I did put of the lyrics in here, but made some changes to them, but still the original lyrics do not belong to me.

Well any who enjoy!

'It's such a beautiful night. I wonder when Ron is going to get back; I want him to see this too.' I sat there and thought. Ron left with Harry earlier today for some reason he couldn't explain to me.

A smile crept across my face. It's so typical of him. He's always been such a spur of the moment type of guy. Over the years I've just gotten used to it I suppose. About a year ago Harry, Ron, and I were out to lunch, and right in the middle of us talking about this new shop opening, Ron asked me to move in with him. We have been dating for a long time now and I've just been waiting for him to actually make the commitment and ask me to marry him. But then again, it's Ronald Weasley. So I don't know. Or he may randomly ask me. I can never be too sure, but that's why I love him.

I walked into the backyard of our little house, and sat down on the cool grass. A slight breeze caught my hair and blew it out of my face.

As I was caught up in thought I heard the backdoor open and footsteps coming towards me. I looked up to see Ron standing beside me. I stood up and he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a warm embrace. He just took my breath away, as he has always been able to. He pulled away and looked in my eyes.

He seemed different somehow. He looked almost abnormally happy. He then got down on one knee and started to say the words I have dreamed about hearing since I was 14.

'Hermione Granger, it's a beautiful night, and I think I wanna marry you.'

He pulled out the most beautiful ring I've ever seen, and kept on talking.

'I know this little chapel down the boulevard we can go. No one will know. Please don't say no, just say yeah, and we will go, like I'm ready, if you're ready. It's just the look in your eyes, and we are just looking for something to do. So please Hermione, I want to marry you.'

I just looked into his eyes and let out a little giggle. I have wanted him to propose to me for a long time, but in a different way. I couldn't help but smile though.

'Oh Ron. That was...absolutely ridiculous,' I got teared up and started giggling again. 'But I have been waiting to hear those words for so long now. So yes, I'll marry you.' He stood up and gave me a big kiss, Ron...My Ron.
