A/N: Nothing much to write here, just a short drabble that was written for a audition for a RP series. (: And I thought to myself, ah, what the heck, let's post it on . Yup. Enjoy!
Tina groaned quietly to herself, her right hand rubbing her temples and her left hand flipping pages of her textbook mindlessly, her brain barely registering the information about herbs written there before the page was turned. Studying was not something she wanted to do when she had a throbbing headache, especially on a Friday afternoon, and during her free period. Her eyes flicked to the clock- 4:30pm. Tina looked around the common-room – she was the only one there who was studying. She sighed wearily, leaning back in her chair and closing her eyes. She cracked one eye open after a split second, reaching out for her mug of hot chocolate and taking a sip. Suddenly, she sat upright, determination evident on her face. She sat her mug back down, picked her textbook, and focused.
Just half an hour more till Glee.
When she finally heard the bell ring, Tina couldn't help but throw her pen up in the air with a small smile on her face, heaving a sigh of relief. She carelessly clamped her textbook shut, and rummaged around for her Glee file. Finding the think blue folder, Tina didn't even care to pick up her pen as she hurriedly made her way to the Transfiguration classroom, where Glee was usually held. Seeing that she was the first one there, she cast a switching spell on the professor's table, so that it had all the functions of a real piano. Usually Professor Shuester would handle that, but seeing that he wasn't here yet, and she was doing well in his class - why not practice her transfiguring skills a little? Upon hearing a clap, Tina whipped around to find Professor Shue smiling at her.
"Well done, Tina! Your Transfiguration skills are really coming along very well!" He praised her, and his smile grew just a inch wider as he saw a blush ghost her cheeks. She said a small "thank you", before she saw Rachel and Kurt come into the room and went to take her seat. She let her smile take over her face as she watched the rest of the Glee club fill in, the noise level growing by the second as she too welcomed her friends in. Tina rushed to hold the door open for Artie as she always did, pushing him in with ease. She parked Artie in his spot, before hugging him and walking round to everyone else to hug them as well. She barely said one word, but her hugs said it all- she missed her friends and was glad to be with them. And in a heartbeat she felt all the stress and pressure melt away as she basked in the presence of her best friends.
