ACGOMN: This is a look at Momiji during his last year at high school.. Set after the series ends. I got this idea while reading Frankenstein which I have to read for school.
I don't own Fruits Basket or any of its characters. I don't own Frankenstein, Mary Shelly does.

Momiji sighed as he stared at the book in front of him. He had to read Frankenstein and write a seven page essay on it. The question was 'Describe how Victor and the monster's relationship could can compare to a parent/child relationship. How do you think Victor should have dealt with his creation?' This wasn't going to be fun.
Three hours later the book was read and Momiji's normal cheerful demeanor was solemn. The monster reminded him of the curse that the Sohma family was once under. It really reminded him of his mother and how she rejected him. Victor Frankenstein created the monster and shunned him because of his ugliness. Like his mother did to him.
Momiji had no idea what to write about for the essay. He felt like this was digging up old memories, that he never really forgot.
"But unlike the monster of the story. The little rabbit was able to find people who accepted him for who he is," said Haru, at the door of his room.
"Haru?"
"I finished the book too," said Haru. "And I knew you would become upset because of the rejection all in that book."
"What about the essay," asked Momiji.
"I'll help you with it," said Haru. "I finished mine. Rin helped me."
"Ah," said Momiji.
"Oh I got a call from Kyou yesterday," said Haru.
"Yeah?"
"Tohru's pregnant."
"Really," asked Momiji, getting some of his vigor back.
"Yeah," said Haru. "So the faster we get done the faster we can take a trip to go visit them." Momiji grinned and nodded. Yeah, Haru was right. The monster had no one to care for him, but Momiji did.
ACGOMN: Uh, Review.
