Dark Side Moon Queen Hecate

According to popular belief, Queen Serenity, of the Silver Millenium
Moon Kingdom, ruled the entire moon, along with the rest of the
universe, except Earth. This is not true, however, because Queen
Serenity had a sister, named Hecate. Serenity's mother favored
Serenity, leading her in her footsteps. While Hecate was forced to
learn her own way. The moon was split in half, the light side, which
always faced Earth, and the dark side, which never saw the Earth.
Serenity was given the light side, and Hecate was given the dark side.
Both queens were blessed with a child, but never kept in touch. Queen
Hecate loathed her sister, while Queen Serenity didn't want her
daughter to know about her sister, thinking she might be a bad
influence. Queen Serenity named her daughter Serenity, as was
tradition for her to follow in her mother's footsteps. Queen Hecate
named her daughter Chandra.
