Chapter 1
One day 12 year old Cody Danes is out in the yard shooting hoops in the basketball hoop over the garage when a car pulls up and the ball hits the hood of the car and Cody looks in the windshield and sees Chris and watches him get out of his car.
"hey Cody good to see ya bud!" Chris says happily
"hi." Cody says
"your mom home?" Chris wonders
"yeah." Cody nods pointing up to the door
"great thanks." Chris says
"mhm." Cody says and watches him go over to the stairs and go up and knock on the front door
Lorelai is upstairs in her bathroom when she hears the knock on the door and is trying to get ready and comes rushing down the stairs "why are you knocking on my door just come in!" she yells from the stairs and goes over to the door and opens it
"Chris!" she says happily to see him
"hey Lore!" he says happily
Lorelai just looks at him for a few minutes then looks around him and checks on and smiles at Cody.
"so what...whgat are you doing here?" she wonders
"just came to see you." he tells her
"oh Okay!; Well come on in." she tells him letting him in shutting the door behind him and points over to the livingroom and couch
They both walk into the livingroom and sit down on the couch together.
