Bella Swan and the rest of her school will never forget one horrific day when as school close out two boys she'd knew from one of her classes were crossing the street'd and an oncoming bus collided with the boys , the incident was talked about for months that followed and the bus driver sent to jail for life .
But as each day passed Bella had troubled getting over the image of what happened . '' It's going to take time ,'' Carlisle told the family in a discussion after what happen ,'' People drink because they seem to feel it helps them make them feel better it doesn't work ever that's why I forbid it in this house.'' That night Bella tried to sleep or close her eyes but couldn't every time she did she saw herself as one of the kids that got hurt and then suddenly she'd scream but never told anyone what happened .In fact that dream continued but subsided in time . Edward had the same problem but he got over it sooner the biggest worry about the family was Emmett he started on talking about it and wouldn't stop and one day he was outside on the porch mumbling to himself when Edward came out and saw him .
And he was holding a bottle in his hand Edward went and told Carlisle and Carlisle told too leave the premises until he was sober again and Emmett only silently walked off holding the bottle . '' Drinking ,'' said Carlisle ,'' never does anyone any good .'' And Emmett looked back but didn't say nothing at all . The rest of the family turn to Carlisle ,'' He'll be back , maybe better then he was I hope . '' Unfortunately Emmett did not return and Carlisle had no choice but to call the police .
It was only a month later when Emmett did return but still no one forgot what happened .
