Author's Note: Another one for the pack. This came from a picture of a boy standing at a window in an empty apartment. I don't know how that translates but here it is. Read. Enjoy. Review. -Delta

Windows Like Eyes

Collin was always much too shy for his own good.

He rarely said much, only putting his two sense into the equation when asked.

Now, as he stares out those windows, her windows, he has never loathed that aspect of himself quite so much.

He had seen her, walking up the landing with an arm full of groceries. His entire world split apart, leaving him only one thing, one person, keeping him to this planet. Her.

He doesn't know her name, barely knows the color of her hair, but he knows that she should be nothing but his.

He knows this and nothing else in that moment.

Collin had come back for her, and now she was gone.

He was too late, and now all he has to show for his actions is a hollow chest where his heart used to be, before it had been taken away.
