Yes, I am returning to the archive that inspired me to join this site. I am very grateful to everyone I have met on here, and even if you no longer acknowledge me, please know that I dedicate this to all of you.
Thanks so much for the support I was given so long ago! I wish to once more make new friends and show the ideas I have to the world.
After all, that is the point of this site, correct? -Laugh-
I hope you enjoy!
Percy stood at the edge of the lake, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. He viewed a figure at the edge, the other side.
It was blurred, but he could tell it was a female. He knew better than to think she was just another camper; she didn't have the trademarks of one. In fact, she shared little resemblance to any of the gods he had met so far… but the one thing that intrigued him was the mere fact that she had made it past the barrier.
Annabeth stood silently behind him, her eyes clouded with confusion.
"Who is she?" the daughter of Athena questioned as she laid her gaze across the shore.
The canoes were bobbing up and down in the murky water; they had recently been used for a race, and the arrogant Ares campers had assumed victorious.
Everyone's minds were swirling with thoughts ever since the prophecy had been revealed, and everything seemed to be calming down.
She would often sigh and smile in relief that Percy wasn't the subject of the ominous prophecy after all; in actuality, he seemed quite content about this, and it would often show in his emotions whenever it was mentioned.
Percy had become wiser; he also had grown in height, making her feel short. (He used this to his advantage often.)
She hadn't grown since long before the war had begun, and thus she was much shorter than everyone else. (Annabeth had gained many nicknames.)
Another thing: the campers in the battle were admired and respected by the newer arrivals, which did not come to be unexpected. They often wondered what it must've been like; the adrenaline of battle, knowing you would lay down your life for your friends.
Those few campers that were new to the place must've felt like strangers; it was hard for them not to feel left out when the remaining battlers spoke of their adventures. Many of them had gone off to college, in hopes of finding themselves a future in the real world, so the ones that had remained grew closer with each passing day.
Percy, Annabeth, Clarisse, and Selena had stayed around, becoming camp counselors for their cabins. (Percy included, yes.)
Tyson played a pivotal role in coaching many of the activities, and spent less time in Cabin 3, leaving Percy to clean up. (This isn't the best of ideas.)
And Clarisse had softened up; she was less likely to be sent to the harpies lately.
This completely amused everyone.
But despite the calm aura from the campers, a new danger would be revealed… And a new prophecy spoken.
Talk about mystery. -Laugh- Hope you liked the short intro! I'm looking forward to your feedback.
