What happens when one of Jacob past loves comes back and finds out some terrifying news?
***hey guys! So this is a new story. The beginning is when Carlisle is a vampire so is Edward. Before Rose was found and changed. Edward remembers a long family friend, Paige, and all she wanted was to live forever. She has the same thing that Edward did when he was changed. Let me know what you think!***
Paige:
All I ever wanted was to live forever. I wanted to see the new inventions, the great styles to come.
Not to just go to bed one night and never wake up, never see another sunrise again. . .
The whole world can to a stop when my mother came down with Spanish influenza. She was going to die. She told me . . . every day, also telling me that I was going to die too. I didn't listen to her, I never have. The only way of communication with me is by screaming or yelling. Her veins bulging out of her petit neck face slowly turning into a rose color. But when she was in the hospital her sun kissed body was fading to a pale yellow. The redness of her face now was white was a ghost.
She was a different person . . . not the Clare I know. A calmer one as she approached death. I was rarely was allowed to see her. But thankfully her doctor was Carlisle. A family friend ever since I could remember. He has a son, Edward. I used to think that he was the apple of my eye, but now a brother figure.
On the days I couldn't see mom was with Edward. We would go to the park or just go sit at the market and talk. He was always there for me. To wipe away the tears, tell me that it was ok, that I wasn't crazy and I have the right to be happy no matter what… he just a nice normal human being to me.
But when that day dawned on me with the news of my mother's death. . . I didn't think that it could get any worse for me.
I was wrong…
