"Alice I'm bored." Emmett complained.
"You wanna play some cards?" Alice asked, holding a pack of cards in her hand.
"Yeah right, you'll win anyways." It was true. Alice always won, unless she was playing against Edward. Alice and Edward both got up.
"I'll get it." Alice trilled. Edward sat back beside me and took my hand in his. The doorbell rang.
"Oh for the love of god!" Edward yelled. Mike Newton was standing there with his hands in his pockets.
"Um can I speak to Bella?" he asked sheepishly.
"Bella?" Alice asked me. I walked to the door at a human pace. Mike Newton's eyes popped out of his head.
"Wow Bella, did you get prettier?" I heard Edward growl from the couch. He spoke low so mike couldn't hear.
"Bella has always been beautiful." He spoke through his teeth when he said 'always'.
I took a deep breath. "Sure, come on in." I let him in and sat back beside my husband. Mike followed me but remained standing. I heard Alice giggle and Edward growl. I put my hand on his knee to calm him.
"Okay, I'm just gonna come out and say It." He took a step back after glancing at Edward. "Bella I love you. So dump, I mean divorce, this loser and marry me." I laughed so hard the house shook, but only enough for us vampires to notice. Edward, on the other hand, jumped out of his seat.
"I'm going to rip your head off! What gives you the right to come in this house disrespect this family?" he yelled. I got distracted. Edward was adorable when he got angry.
"Your all talk! I could beat you right here, right now." Emmett started bouncing in his seat like a little kid waiting for dessert. Instead of getting mad this time, Edward just laughed as hard as I had before. "Lets let Bella choose" mike challenged Edward. I just looked back and forth.
"Your serious? Mike, Edward could kill you if he wanted to. I could kill you if I wanted to. I am happily married to the hottest guy in the world. You look like some piece of crap on the side of the road. You have exactly five seconds before I turn your face into a pile of mashed potatoes, to get out this house. Or Edward and I will get to rearrange your face! I'll even let Emmett join us! Five, four, three, two-"
"One." Edward said. I looked at mike, who just wet his pants. I punched him in the face, lightly, but he still fell to the ground, screaming.
"Okay, I'll give you another chance" mike said through tears" Edward was fed up. He picked Newton up off the ground, by his neck.
"She said get out" mikes face was priceless. Edward let him go and Mike limped to the door. I punched him one more time, then Edward punched him, then Emmett. Soon everyone punched mike before he left the house, even Carlisle, who sent Mike straight out the window.
"Man he's annoying" Carlisle said.
We all went back to what we were doing.
"Alice, I'm bored," Emmett complained again.
