This fic was inspired by an episode of Kung Fu Panda between Po and the Tigress…It was quite funny and I thought Roy could possibly do something like this…and so this little fic was born XD
This was made for laughs, which I hope you all have!
Roy was walking Riza home late one night after she had kept him overtime at Headquarters to finish his paperwork. It was dark -it was the night of the new moon- and the two of them only had the light of the sparse streetlamps to walk by.
As the two reached the next streetlamp at the corner of the block, Riza stopped suddenly, her hand rising to her gun holster on her hip.
"Lieutenant," Roy grumbled as he ran into her from behind, not seeing her stop. "What are you doing?"
"Quiet, sir." She moved him behind her as two men stepped out of the shadows of an alley, staggering drunkenly into the pale streetlight.
"Oh, look at the pretty lady," one said, nudging the other. Roy frowned, folded his arms, and stepped around Riza.
"What are you talking about? I'm a man." The two men looked at each other, confused, then back at the two military officers. Riza's hand that was not gripping her gun, settled over her eyes as she took a deep breath. She had thought her colonel was smarter than this.
"Sir, they were talking about me." Roy turned his head, his eyebrow raised in disbelief. When she frowned darkly at him the look disappeared and he hurriedly said,
"Oh, I suppose that makes sense." The two men had started to stumble closer to them, when Riza drew her gun. The men's eyes widened at the sight of it.
"I believe you both should be heading home now, don't you?"
"Uh, yeah. We don't want any trouble."
"Then start walking."
Once the two men had rounded the corner of the block opposite to to theirs, she put her weapon away. Before Roy could say anything, she hit the back of his head and started waking away.
"Ow, Lieutenant! What was that for? I really thought they were talking to me!"
"Sir, you are too conceited for your own good."
