I Would Miss You
"It's not like anyone would miss me!" Roxes shouted at his best friend. "That's not true!" Axel shouted back. "I would…" he whispered almost too quiet to be herd but not quit. Roxes turned around slowly, clearly shocked. "You would?" The blond boy said obviously confused. "Of course I would!" The red head said frustrated at the younger boy's confusion. "But why, why would you miss me?" He asked, trying to think of a reason that anyone would miss him. He was just another nobody after all. The pyro took a step forward so he was standing in front of the shorter boy, looking into his sapphire blue eyes with something that Roxes couldn't understand. "Because…" Axel said trying to put how he felt into words. Then it hit him. Why when he looked at Roxes his words got stuck in his throat. Why he could just sit there not saying anything for hours, just looking at the beautiful blond haired, blue eyed boy standing before him. Why right now the thought of loosening him terrified him. And it was then that he knew that he could not live without him. That he meant everything to him. That he would die for him. "Because Roxes, I love you." He whispered not meeting Roxes's shocked eyes. "You mean the world to me, and I would do anything to keep you here with me." The blond looked up to see tears falling freely from the older man's eyes, a broken look on his on his face. "I swear I won't leave. I'll stay for you and never try to leave again, just promise me one thing ." Roxes said. "Anything, I'll do anything." Axel responded a look of hope taking over his face. A big smile spread across the small blonds face as he got on his tip toes and whispered into the pyro's ear. "Please don't cry anymore." Turning his head he kissed his best friend and pulled him closer, holding him as if he were the only thing keeping him there. And in reality it was true, the only reason he had to stay, to live was standing in front of him, there lips still pressed together. "Come on Roxes let go home." The fire hared man said breaking the kiss and holding his hand out for the blond. "I'll go anywhere you go." He replied letting the pyro take his hand and lead him into the dark corridor back to the only home he would ever need, the only job he would ever work, with the only man he would ever love.
