Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I don't own any member of Enterprise crew, nor any alien out there, nor there is a spaceship waiting for me on the orbit... And definitely nobody is paying me for this...

„Will you just shut up?! I need to concentrate!" growled McCoy and reached for a small knife.
„Your involvement in this matter is unnecessary, Doctor," answered Spock stiffly. „I assure you I have a full control of the process."
„Control, hah!" snorted McCoy. Despite his previous exclamation he looked completely fine working and arguing at the same time. „If I left it to you, it would only end up in more mutilation or even burns. You just stay there and let me do what I am good at."
„According to my data there is no limb-sewering involved. It would be illogical to..."
„Yeah, yeah. You want logic? Here, I have some sudoku here, why dont you play like a good boy for a while?" McCoy drawled sarcastically.
„I was under the impression that „playing" is your speciality, Doctor." Sarcasm was definitely more effective when accompanied by Spock's stony expression and lifted eyebrow. Unfortunately, during their time together on the board of the same spaceship Leonard McCoy had ample opportunity to get used to it, and became able to occasionally condescendingly ignore it. Like right now.
„Almost done! I really am good..." he exclaimed contentedly. „Be careful when you move it, it's a piece of art. Wouldn't want to accidentaly destroy it, would we now?"
It was good that he didn't wait for an answer, as only silence answered him.
„Put it on the table, I will bring the plates, and we can dig in."
